Disrupting Everything in BI Analytics

analytics, big data, Cloudera, Qlik

Global Technology Partner of the Year

A Cloudera contingent, including Business Development, Marketing, Sales, and Software Engineering just got back from Qlik Qonnections in Orlando, Florida where the vibe to #DisruptEverything was strong! Qonnections is the premier Business Intelligence (BI) conference that brings data lovers together to share insights and discover data in new ways.

This year we spoke to over 300 customers and partners about how Qlik, integrates with Cloudera’s modern platform for machine learning and analytics optimized for the cloud, makes it easy to extract and analyze data to help organizations make data-driven decisions. Read more about our integration here and dive into a great customer success story with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta on Cloudera.com.

In addition to the great conversations we had in the Discovery Expo, Cloudera’s Tim Hyde, software engineer, ran a session – Creating Service Offerings with Cloudera Data Explorer and Dan Wilson, business development manager, hosted – Learn How to Build a Successful Strategy for Self-Service BI and Data Science, as well as participated in a panel discussion with Cognizant around Human Science vs. Data Science.

But, by far, the most gratifying moment of the show was when Cloudera was honored, for the third year in a row, as the Qlik Global Technology Partner of the Year. The award recognizes our performance, reach, depth and breadth of integration and the overall strength of our partnership. We are lucky to work with such a great team at Qlik and look forward to another successful year for our joint customers who benefit from the strength of Qlik+Cloudera!
